2010 Seminar Schedule Now Available

The much anticipated schedule of maintenance seminars at Schulz Electric Company has arrived!  Enjoy breakfast as we begin in the morning and a delicious catered lunch.  Schulz employees will be available to answer any questions you  may have.

 

• Maintenance for Motors & Control Systems: June 2, 2010

Learn the benefits of predictive and preventive maintenance, the key items requiring maintenance, and an in-depth look at how electric motors work.  Other topics include downtime surprises, scheduled downtimes, and motor overhaul procedures. 

• An Introduction to PLCs: June 30, 2010


Learn the benefits of PLCs, applications and programming, when and where you can use PLCs, the  types of PLCs available, developing programs and troubleshooting, and the basics on how to use them.  Some other topics include the history of the PLC, hardware specifications, PLC memory, and ladder logic programming.

• Electronic Motor Controls:  July 14, 2010


This course will teach you the many benefits of using Variable Frequency Drives, which include reducing energy costs and extending the life of mechanical equipment. You will also learn everything you need to know to effectively apply VFDs and softstarters, selecting the right controller for the job, and identifying and repairing the problems you may come across.
